Farewell Zach, Welcome Dahlia

It has come to my attention that many of you were not aware of Zach's departure from the band. We announced Oct. 10th that Zach was leaving the band to focus more on work and his other projects. (See the full statement here: facebook.com/rottenreputation/photos/a.1693474497554138/2335232430045005) Since then Rotten Reputation has been playing shows as a 3 piece (Lola, Kevin, and Bee) and have been auditioning bassists. In late November we auditioned Dahlia and she was a PERFECT fit. When we got offered this AMAZING opportunity to open for Leftover Crack this coming January, we decided to announce her debut.

I am very sorry that this news seemed to slip through the cracks for y'all. (Facebook and Instagram algorithms will forever be the death of me!!) I hope this is a better update for y'all so we can all be on the same page again.

I still live with Zach and we are very honored to have had him be apart of the building blocks of Rotten Reputation. We wouldn't be where we are without him and are forever grateful for everything he has brought to this band.

To clarify some rumors I heard:

- No, he wasn't kicked out. He chose to leave.

- No, we didn't kick him out because he identifies as a man. First off, we didn't kick him out, as addressed above, and that reasoning is ridiculous and goes against everything we stand for.

- Yes, he is still in Sharone and the Wind and still killing it in the music scene! Check them out here: facebook.com/sharoneandthewind

Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions. I hope this cleared up the confusion a lot of you had.

NOW! I PRESENT TO YOU OUR NEW BASSIST: DAHLIA!!!!

She's here, she's queer, and she needs a beer!

After what felt like forever searching for a new bassist we found Dahlia. You may know her from her other band Flower Crown Me A Queen, Dahlia has been apart of our local Denver scene for quite sometime making riot girl noise in all genres.

She is very passionate about Rotten Reputation and what we stand for. She was able to pick up our current songs so quick that we are already writing new music with her and we haven't even played our first show with her yet! We can't wait for you to experience this wild card girl that has more spunk than a cheer leading squad.

January 1st, 2019 will be her debut show at the Aggie Theater in Fort Collins, CO opening for Leftover Crack with our good friends The Ghoulies and Screwtape. Hit us up for tickets! It's going to be an amazing night!
